On behalf of the research group on compositional data (CoDa) I am glad to send you the latest news about the 7th Week-CoDaCourse’18: the course was recently acredited by the CoDa-Association (https://www.coda-association.org).
CoDa refers to the random vectors representing parts of a whole which only carry relative information. CoDa have been defined historically as random vectors with strictly positive components whose sum is constant (e.g., 100, one, a million).
The CoDaCourse’18 is a week-course that will be held in the University of Girona (UdG) from July 2 to 6, 2018. It is organized by the research group on CoDa. The teaching staff is composed by members of the research group that includes professors from the UdG and from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). This course is officially accredited by the IAMG and the CoDa-Association. You can find more information in the file attached or at our website http://www.compositionaldata.com/codacourses.php
